Amy’s practice concentrates on the areas of estate planning, collections and liens, and real estate, including transactional work such as drafting purchase agreements and contracts for deed, quiet title and torrens proceedings to resolve title issues, foreclosures, and evictions.

After graduating from University of Chicago with a degree in psychology, Amy studied law at the University of Minnesota Law School.  During law school, Amy was a Smith Scholarship recipient and participated in National Moot Court.  Amy received her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and was admited to the State Bar in 2006.

Amy joined Speight & Lappegaard, P.A. in 2007, first as a law clerk and now is a practicing attorney with the firm.  Amy is originally from Red Wing, Minnesota and is an active member of the community, including the Red Wing Rotary Club.
